Red Deer
The red deer (known in Latin as Cervus elaphus) is one of the largest deer species on earth. The male one is usually called a stag, and the female one is called a hind. The stags and hinds inhabit the forested and mountainous regions of Europe, as well as the Caucasus Mountains and some parts of western Asia.
